Movie ReviewsA hidden treasure! operadevotee | 01/05/2010 (5 out of 5 stars) "What a delightful concert! I always enjoy hearing Orpheus in the Underwold. I wasn't too familiar with Robert Stolz's music and mainly got the DVD for the Offenbach portions. Robert Stolz was certainly a pleasant surprise! His music sounds like Oscar Straus' and Franz Lehar's, rich in harmonies and melodies, with toe-tapping songs! The vocal soloists for the evening were very good. While the pre-recorded dance material playing during some of the pieces was a little odd, the pre-recorded scenes from around Vienna were apropos. For the price, I couldn't pass it up and I'm glad I didn't!"
