Ryan Phillippe really shines in this movie. I got lost in his character and the plight of his fellow soldiers. Abbie Cornish is horrible. The girl lacks talent and in most cases brings nothing to the movie. I actually felt she hurt the character in the movie. There are some parts of the movie that drag on, but for the most part it keeps you interested, knowing this is really happening to soldiers.
