A great low-budget horror-comedy. Starts out as a teen-flick where the group gets ripped off on a marijuana deal. They try to get their money back, but end up killing the dealer. He returns as a zombie to seek vengeance and starts to pick off the kids. They realize they need someone of equal super zombie strength. Hilarity ensues.

"This movie empitomizes cheezy horror! Mooselini's character was hilarious. Nothing beats the heads flying! 2 points for this movie!! It's right up there next to Return to Horror High. Anyone who was a teenager should buy this movie NOW!"
FUNNY AS HELL!

"This movie looks like it was filmed with a camcorder! I didn't realize, when I purchased this DVD, that it was going to be a total amateurish delight! I mean the editing is even horrible, the sound doesn't match up! The acting is atrocious! The storyline is pathetic! I LOVE IT! There's a scene where the Hispanic, zombie, drug-dealer rapes a hapless teenage girl to death! He breaks her body in half and all she says is "You can't do thaaaaaaaaaat!" In another hilarious scene a cop, who is hot on the trial of the zombie drug peddler, gets punched in the forehead and sort of has a 2 second delayed reaction to the pain. Then he falls backward and screams like a dying duck! Oh, I'm telling you buy this movie! If you love watching horrible actors not totally devoted to their parts, this one is for you!"
Funny spoof of zombie movies ruined by poor video quality

"I Was a Teenage Zombie is a really funny spoof of those 1950s monster films and zombie films. A drug dealer is accidentally killed by teens and then the teens throw him in the river where a nuclear liquid brings him back as a zombie and then he starts revenge. The video release is poor because the movie skips a lot even if you clean the VCR. Please release this one on a new DVD with special features(Commentaries, deleted scenes) because the VHS/DVD versions are horrendous. This one deserves a Special Edition DVD for fans of this spoof."
