Not much new here

"Much of the interview footage is old and identical to that included in the "Up Close And Personal" DVD and Book Set put out at the same time by Edgehill Publishing. 2 DVDs give this package a "big" and impressive first look but the discs play time is very short and the material could have been easily put on one disc. Further, this is by no means a complete package "by Thin Lizzy" as the band's great drummer Brian Downey and fine guitar slingers, Scott Gorham, Gary Moore and John Sykes are not interviewed. Eric Bell tells the same old story and the Philomena Lynott footage is old. Brian Robertson could have had more to say. Jim Fitzpatrick and Terry O'Neill's interviews are fine but they were not band members. I am glad Snowy White and Darrren Wharton were included. All in-all though, it is the same old story again. Finally, the price- I bought both the videobiography and the "Up Close and Personal" releases with Amazon's package price. Together, they might be worth $19.95 to someone who knew nothing about the band. For old TL fans who'd hoped that by 2007, we'd get something new, this is just another rip-off-a very pretty package of overpriced rehash. I'd like my money back."
