Not bad

"These stories are pretty good and are from season 7, which was the last season directed by David Mitton. The stories are narrated by Michael Brandon, who is on the border between a good narrator and a bad one. He has a good voice but sometimes, he makes the engines sound dumb. The story stops are:

PERCY GETS IT RIGHT 9/10:
Percy comes across a broken track while traveling on Toby's line so he goes back to tell Sir Topham Hatt. When he tells him about the problem, Sir Topham Hatt ingnores him and sends Thomas down Toby's line, which has the broken track on it.

SOMETHING FISHY 8.5/10:
A new line at the harbor is opened and Arthur hopes that Sir Topham will pick him to run it but Sir Topham Hatt ends up choosing Thomas to run the line. Thomas isn't the least bit excited since he hates the smell of fish. Arthur still wants the job, will he ever get it?

WHAT'S THE MATTER WITH HENRY 9/10:
One day, Henry isn't feeling well and is leaking water everywhere. He doesn't want to tell Sir Topham Hatt because he that really useful engines don't complain. Soon, he send Thomas, Percy, and Henry to pull some freight cars and Thomas and Percy think that Henry is just lazy so they play a trick on Henry.

THE OLD BRIDGE 7/10:
The old bridge is collapsing and Skarloey gets stuck on it one day. After he is pulled to safety and the bridge gets repaired, Skarloey refuses to cross the bridge again; but when it comes to saving his friend, Rheneas, will Skarloey be able to face his fear of crossing the bridge?

TRUSTY RUSTY 8/10:
Rusty's job is to inspect the island for damaged spots and he comes across a weak bridge. He goes back to warn all the other engines but Duncan decides to cross it anyway.

BILL, BEN & FERGUS 9/10:
Fergus comes help Bill and Ben at the quarry. He is very cautious and always warn Bill and Ben to be careful and to do it right. Bill and Ben soon get annoyed with Fergus and decide that the next time Fergus tells them to do something right, they will do it wrong.

THERE ONCE WAS AN ENGINE WHO RAN AWAY(music video) 7/10:
A song about Fergus and the time when he ran away."
Very nice release

"This was a very good DVD. It covers a large variety of characters. Here are the episodes and grades:

1.Percy gets it right (B - Kids love Percy and Thomas they will like this)
2.Something fishy (A- Thomas, Arthur and Salty. Thomas does not want to pull fish so he tries to do it all in one trip and crash!)
3.What's the matter with Henry? (B - Henry is sick)
4.The old iron bridge (A - Skarloey almost falls on the bridge and won't go on it again. My kids found this to be very engaging)
5.Trusty Rusty (A- - Rusty saves Duncan from a bad bridge. Ironically this is very similar to the story right before it?)
6. Bill, Ben, and Fergus (A+ - Our favorite. Bill and Ben are very funny. This also includes Mavis)

As always, the DVD has games and a song. It also has two computer games that you can load on your computer. Not a bad deal at all. Ours came with a shiny Percy which made the whole purchase a steal since the trains themselves generally run $9.99. Great buy."

"This epsiode definately sounds intersting! Starting off with "Percy Gets It Right" Percy must save Thomas from Toby's Branch line tracks. Then in "Bill, Ben, and Fergus" Fergus returns and has to save the quary from Bill and Bens mischevious rampage. Next in "The old Bridge" Skarloey must overcome his fear of the old bridge and save Rhenaes. In "What's The Matter With Henry?" Henry has to recover from a horrible cold and a nasty trick by Thomas and Percy. Then in "Something Fishy" Arthur returns and has to save the docks from a runaway train and save his new job from destruction. Finally, in "Trusty Rusty" Rusty must save save Duncan from the old bridge before its too late. Based on everything here, this DVD sounds like a very interesting episode.
