Mighty Mouse - Really poor quality video and audio but these are the That's All Folks classics of Looney Tunes started with U.M.& M TV Corp. produced by Paramount Pictures and then Warner Brothers.

Great fun collection
Robert M. Bratcher Jr. | Houston, Texas USA | 02/21/2006
(4 out of 5 stars)

"My girlfriend bought me this set for Christmas knowing I love cartoons. It's a 2 double disc (each disc is double sided) set with about 15 cartoons per disc side for a total of 60 public domain cartoons. Picture & sound quality are quite good with the ecxeption of 2 cartoons (one is Pantry Panic) which are on the green side that didn't bother me as the cartoons were still a joy to watch. The print source seems to be older TV prints so expect a few (but not all) of the cartoons to have some scratches & splices. The cartoon listing on the back is not quite accurate (For example Poor Cinderella is listed but is not in this set) so here is the correct listing. All cartoons are in color with the exeption of the Betty Boops which were made in black & white.

I'll name the stars if I know them. The others I've never heard of but they were still good. I'm sure young kids will like these cartoons as well as we older folks.

The sing alongs have some cartoon action then it goes into the song (with the bouncing ball) towards the middle of the cartoon. Oh & one more thing. Each disc has a menu with the individual cartoons listed & the menu before that has a play all button. If you select one cartoon to watch the others after it will play unless you go back to the cartoon menu or hit the stop button.

Disc 1 side 1
Pantry Panic (Woody Woodpecker)
The Golden State (Follow the bouncing ball Sing Along)
Winter Draws On (Another great Sing Along)
Westward Whoa (Mutt & Jeff)
Slick Slueths (Mutt & Jeff)
Cupid Gets His Man
Moo Moo Cow And Robinson Crusoe

The rest of these are from fairy tales.
The Stoty Of Kind Midas
The Story Of Rapunzel
The Story Of Little Red Riding Hood
The Story Of Hansel And Gretel
Mother Goose Stories

Disc 1 side 2

Pest Pupil (Baby Huey)
Quack A Doodle Doo (Baby Huey)
Cad And Carry (Little Lulu)
Wolf! Wolf! (Mighty Mouse)
It'a A Greek Life
Crazy Town
Picnic Panic (This one is a mix of animation & live action scenes with young children)
Comin Round The Mountian (Sing Along Song)
Hunky & Spunky (This is a mother donkey with her child)
Always Kickin (another Hunky & Spunky)
The Barnyard Brat (Hunky & Spunky)
The Fresh Vegetable Mystery (Hunky & Spunky)
Little Lambkins (I don't know who is in this but it's good anyway)
A Kick In Time (Hunky & Spunky)
Snubbed By A Snob (Hunky & Spunky)
You Can't Shoo A Horsefly (Hunky & Spunky)

Disc 2 side 1

Disc 2 side 2
The New 3 Stooges (please note, these are cartoons only. The live action Stooges do not appear)

Dizzy Doodlers
Goldriggers Of '49
To Kill A Clockingbird
Who's Lion?

All in all this was a fun set. I enjoyed it running 3 or 4 cartoons at a time so the set would last me awhile..."
Great collection of old school animation!

"This set is great (especially when you consider the price)! Two double-sided discs full of great old school animation, plus a bonus audio disc of 51 Kid's Favorite Sing-A-Long Songs (when I put the audio disc in my computer, it says it's disc 2 of 100 Kid's Favorites). These discs contain lots of Betty Boop, The 3 Stooges, Raggedy Ann and more. There are even some old Ray Harryhausen produced stop-motion animation (I guess that's what it's called) shorts based on old fairy tales! Not all of the films are the best quality, but what do you expect when you watch an old show anyway. Some of these are hard to find gems, while most are on many other low priced cartoon DVD's. All in all, this is a great collection that keeps my kids and me entertained for hours and has received many, many viewings. (The CD does not get much play.)"
Standard fare

"Standard collection of public domain cartoons, mostly (if not completely) available elsewhere. Then again, why *not* buy this particular collection? There's nothing wrong with it."
