"I was skeptic by getting this from the redbox for free. To many bad reviews. But I am glad I did. This was very good. From start to finish I loved it. I guess thats what they mean by each there own. jennifer Garner was very good in this movie and so was Jamie Foxx. Queen Latifiah character made no sense I didn't get her part. All in all very good."

Directed by Gary Marshall, this is one star studded movie. I think this movie would have been charming even if it didn't have well known actors in it. From the name it's obviously a romantic comedy. There is a lot going on in this movie too. Tons of characters and everyone is connected to everyone else in a way.

Reed Bennett (Ashton Kutcher) is a florist who has just proposed to his girlfriend Morley (Jessica Alba) on Valentine's Day. She says yes, which surprises all of his friends including coworker Alphonso (George Lopez). Meanwhile, Julia Fitzpatrick (Jennifer Garner) it troubled because she is going to be spending Valentine's Day without her boyfriend Dr. Harrison Copeland (Patrick Dempsey) and is toying with the fact of surprising him at his work. However, she doesn't know that he has a wife he intends on surprising instead of working. On a plane Kate Hazeltine (Julia Roberts) makes friends with Holden Bristow (Bradley Cooper) while she struggles to reach a special someone on her one day leave from the army. And these are just some of the plot lines running through the movie. Taylor Swift, Taylor Lautner, Queen Latifah, Shirley MacLaine and others also have their own roles and stories in the movie.

Despite all these characters, stories, and connections, the movie was actually easy to follow. The transitions between characters flowed smoothly and I could remember who was who. All of the actors did a fantastic job and some of it was uproariously funny. Anne Hathaway especially had a hilarious role. Because I did enjoy the characters, I do wish that the movie had been longer so they could have explored each of them further and developed the parts more.

The music was great. Because Taylor Swift was in the movie of course she had a song in it as well. But there were also songs by Jewel and Carina Round. All of the of course, where of the romantic genre.

I'm excited to see there is a sequel in the works. Maybe here the characters will be developed and their stories continued. While it was a simple movie I enjoyed it for just that fact. Sometimes you just need a romance to make you feel the warm fuzzies.
