Member Movie Reviews Samuel K. (Solvanda) Reviewed on 11/25/2018... A creation of novelist Nicholas Freeling. Amsterdam crime...bound to be seedy, eh? This series verges on being noir. Many times, there are no satisfactory resolutions. There's a different formula going on in this detective drama. Much of this has a 'video' feel, as does the bulk of 70's British TV. If you can get beyond that, you'll find this quite enjoyable. A region free player will open up all the episodes which were not released in the U.S. Full series is available Region 2. Only a handful released in these two Region 1 sets, as is quite often the case.
