Movie Reviews

The Greatest ski movies on earth!
Michael | St. Louis, MO | 12/04/2003

"This box set rocks. If you're a skier or boarder you will love this boxed set. My favorite is Cold Fusion- Just the trailer of this movie gives me goose bumps. It make me want to get online right away and start planning my next ski vacation. My wife makes fun of me because I can watch these movies over and over and never get tired of them. If you love the snow and like watching pro-riders rip the back-country then these video's are for you. Also- being a Marine I really liked the cold weather training that Warren's team did at Bridgeport, CA with the Marines! OOOH RAAHH!!!!"
Not Supposed to Be Instructional. Just good fun.

"This is not supposed to be instructional! These are awesome movies to watch on Friday nights in the winter or Saturday nights after a long day of skiing. The best skiers on earth show their stuff in places we never thought existed. Worth every penny."
Eye Candy All Around! A+

"As a moderate skiier, and a filmmaker myself, this hits it home for me. Warren Miller films are always shown locally, and there's hardly anything imaginable that could make me miss his new movie every year.
Not being a Heavy Metal fan, historically the music tends to be distracting, alas this (past) year's edition "Storm" had just the right amount of pizazz and flare to make it my favorite yet. There are moments nearly every year that I take home with me, but Storm was filled with the most amazing skiing, some of the most unique locations, and might add the most exhilarating editing I've seen in quite a while! Kudos to you folks!
If you can appreciate the splendor of mountain island skiing that harldy anyone on earth has even seen, let alone skiied, then this DVD will certainly expediate your plans for skiing this coming season. You might not go to South Georgia Island, but there's plenty of skiing nearby...just roadtrip and split a cabin :)"
Amazing film

"Storm is one of my favorites of the Warren Miller series, with absolutely amazing skiing and boarding in incredible locations. (Alaska heliskiing and the South Georgia Island ones are my favorites) The scenes are beautifully shot and really take your breath away. I have to hand it to the Warren Miller team, in that it can't be easy to film these every year and still put out a film that has such an emotional impact for anyone who has been out in the mountains. As a Colorado native, watching this movie makes me want to pack up and head for the deep powder - a fantastic movie that will leave you with a serious travel/ski bug."
