Movie Reviews

It's the Baby Einstein of Mommy/Baby Yoga
Andrea Frazer | Los Angeles | 02/25/2005

"I was turned on to this video by my fitness instructor and have not been disappointed. What makes it so unique is that the main screen is beautiful pictures for my toddler and seven month old to look at, while only the small portion of the screen shows the exercizes. It's neat, because I can actually get a work out and keep my kids entertained. Sometimes they "play" with me, and other times are happy to sit and stare at the incredible images. A great deal, very interactive. Whoever thought of this is brilliant."
It's ok... Would not recommend.

"It's very hard to relax and do yoga when your baby is crawling all over the place. It could be useful when the baby is still very little and not able to crawl. I only used this DVD a couple of times and then just stopped using it. It was kind of useless to me, I'm used to relaxing and calm environment for yoga not chasing after the baby and being constantly on alert."
Fabulous DVD

"It's challenging to get time for yoga when there is a toddler around, so thankfully a video like this one exists. There are three options, two really for yoga practice. One is full screen yoga and the other is small screen yoga with the big screen being dedicated to things of interest to a baby. My daughter, now a small toddler, does climb on me and play with me while I am practicing yoga, it's true, but she would do this regardless of the video. The video does capture her attention at times, but it's not of complete interest to her at this age. The verbal instructions are very clear and soothing. The exercises are great for moms who have just given birth, but there are variations that are more challenging as well. I highly recommend this video and I continue to use it, even though I am far past the "postnatal" stage."
