A Review

(4 out of 5 stars)

"The duel between Kiaba and Joey is good and fairly quick. Joey's ability to hit gold when using his Time Wizard so he can get out his Thousand Dragon is getting over done (they need to miss or loose sometime). Of course Kiaba's ability to get his Blue-Eyes on the fiels, and sometimes in threes, just doesn't do justice to the actual card game. I mean really, how many times can you pull off a triple two tribute monster summon in 2 or 3 turns? But Kiaba makes it took easy.

The begining of the BIG Marik vs. Yugi duel is the main attraction on this DVD though...and so far, it does not dissapoint. Once again, Marik is WAY over the top and getting quite creepy. And with 'good' Marik and little Yugi's souls on the line, you know it will be a good duel! (Of course when I say 'good' Marik, this is still the guy who was wanting to destroy the Pharo and control the world so he's not exactly 'good' now is he?)

Anyway, FIANNLY at the big climax of Yugi and Marik's duel that has been building for the entire season so it's a definite must see for anyone following the show!"
My favorite Yu-Gi-Oh! DVD!

"This is a great DVD! It contains 5 great episodes worth watching.

Battle for the Bronze, Part 1: Yugi and Kaiba's battle is over with Yugi victorious, and leaving Kaiba a humiliating defeat. With Kaiba out of the tournament, Joey Wheeler, who has recovered from his injuries, decides to challenge Kaiba to see who gets the third place crown! After much perstistance by Joey, Kaiba finally agrees, and their great duel starts! Last time Joey dueled Kaiba, he was trounced. Can he win against this duel tycoon?

Battle for the Bronze, Part 2: Joey and Kaiba's duel continues, and things aren't looking good for Joey, as Kaiba has 2000 life points, and Joey's stuck at a measley 1100. Not only that, but all of Joey's best monsters are useless thanks to Kaiba's Crush Card Trap, not to mention that he has a ol' Blue Eyes and a Blade Knight out, so things look bleak! But Joey snatches an Enemy Controller to destroy Blue Eyes, then revives it! And things are starting to look up for Joey! But Kaiba revives his so Joey's got nothing to defend himself? Can he pull through?!

I'm not giving away any more spoilers, you'll have to see it for yourself!"
