Movie Reviews

"Ok this is volume when yusuke defeats Rando. But how he does was just luck. It was amazing to Yusuke smash Rando after what he did to Kuwabara. After that there are 4 saint beasts trying release them selves from the prision of Maze castle. Kuwabara joins Yusuke, but of course Yusuke doesn't want to go cause he just back from training from Genkai. Right when are two Heros enter the demon city before maze castle. They are attacked be low class demons. That's when Kurama and Hiei show up to give them some help. But not willingly, specially Hiei. Koenma told Kurama and Hiei he they see to this problem they could clear all their wrong doings from the spirit world. But are heros are not getting along as a team should. Hiei and Kuwabara won't stop fighting with one another. They finally get the gate of Maze castle. But there waiting for them a eye flying demon. That greets are heros and tells them this is the Gate of Betrayal. Like a dummy Yusuke ask Gate Betrayal what's that mean. Well to find out, you have to watch.
I have to say I was very impress by this tape. The gate of betrayal is a wonderful twist.
Well anyways Next episode Kurama finally shows us alittle trick of his. His beautiful Rose Whip. This is the first appearance of the rose whip and it so beautiful as so is Kurama. Kurama finally show us some of his skills. Genbu does this weird thing with his body, he can seprate his body parts and he can move with in the walls of stone.See what happens and see what Kurama does to defeat this Saint beast. I promise even though this volume only has 3 episodes it is while worth the money. I had to watch this tape about 8 to 9 times already. the gate of betrayal is the best twist I've seen so far of Yu Yu Hakusho.
13).Yusuke VS. Ranndo: 99 Attacks
14).The Beasts Of Maze Castle
15).Genbu, The Stone Beast"
Great DVD - but only 3 episodes

"Would have been five stars, but I marked it down for being short (62 minutes instead of 82, like the others were). This DVD covers episodes 13-15, wrapping up the Genki Tournament and Rando sequence, and starting the Four Saint Beasts / Macai Insect sequence. By the end of episode 14, the team of Yusuke, Kuwabara, Hiei, and Kurama is finally established (as we always knew it would be from the opening credits). Tons of fun."
