Our resident "Movie Mogul" and SwapaDVD founder, Richard P., wants to give you the opportunity to earn free credits and DVDs! Richard says, "Here's your chance to pick up some more great movies and earn extra credits with two great new programs!"
Pick-a-Flick: Do you have friends who love movies? Well, there's never been a better time to have them join SwapaDVD! When you refer a new member, we always give you a referral credit so that you can get another DVD. But now for a limited time, for each new member that you refer to SwapaDVD who posts 10 DVDs for swapping, you'll also get to choose any one of 50 movies from the Pick-a-Flick collection as a bonus! Pick-a-Flick
Summary: For every new member you refer during this limited-time offer, in addition to your regular referral credit, you'll also get to choose any one of 50 DVDs from our "Pick-a-Flick" collection.For the referral to be valid, the new member must:
- complete registration
- post 10 DVDs to his/her DVD Tower
- be the first account holder at his/her household
- specify you as the referring member when registering
- When a valid referral has been recorded, you'll get an email with a link to the Pick-a-Flick collection.
- You will still get your normal Referral Credits in addition to the Pick-a-Flick selection
- You can keep track of your referrals on the My Referrals page in your account
- You will have 30 days from the recording of each valid referral to collect your Pick-a-Flick bonus movie.
Movie Moguls
Summary: With all these new members, we hope to have more wishes granted than you can wave a wand at! To that end, we're also offering a bonus credit for successfully mailing any of the club's Top 25 Wishes of all time. When the DVD is marked 'Received' without a problem, the sender will get one credit per disc, PLUS one additional Movie Moguls' bonus credit!To be eligible to earn a Movie Moguls' bonus credit:
- the DVD must be on the Top 25 Wishes list (the "all time" default view of this list) on the day that you post it for swapping
- the DVD received from you must be the EXACT same version that was on the Top 25 Wishes list (the "all time" default view of this list)
- the DVD must be posted into the general system using the UPC on the DVD case
- the DVD must be marked 'Received' without any problems (e.g., damaged by sender, wrong DVD, late mailing)
- If you have multiple copies of a DVD, the same movie will not be eligible for Movie Moguls' bonus credit until the previous copy you sent has been marked received
- Once earned, Movie Moguls' bonus credits do not expire
- Movie Moguls' bonus credits can be used just like normal credits
Please note:
- these promotions may be discontinued at any time
- Any attempt to defraud SwapaDVD is punishable by imprisonment
