Biography: Choreographer Michael Peters worked on stage, television, and in feature films, as well as music videos. For his innovative work Peters received a Tony for Dreamgirls and two Emmys for the specials Liberty Weekend Closing Ceremonies and The Jacksons: An American Dream. He also won special awards for directing the dancing in pop artist Michael Jackson's groundbreaking videos Beat It and Thriller in the mid-'80s. |
