Biography: Bill Pope first functioned as a full-fledged cinematographer on Sam Raimi's Darkman (1990). Before entering the film and entertainment industry, the Kentucky-born Pope earned a master's degree in Fine Arts from New York University. Prior to graduation, he shot the documentary The Sixth Week for which he earned an Oscar for Best Student Documentary. |
