Biography: British comic actor Nat Jackley is best remembered as a slapstick music-hall performer. He got his start as a child as part of the traveling comedy troupe the "Eight Lancanshire Lads," the same group where Charlie Chaplin got his start. Much later in life he became a character actor in films including Stars in Your Eyes (1956) and The Ploughman's Lunch (1984). |
