Biography: Shahid Ahmed made his film debut with a role in the British film Yasmin, playing a Muslim man who's been detained, and whose wife is campaigning for his release. He soon followed this up by playing a downtrodden man who becomes a terrorist in Stephen Gaghan's critically acclaimed Syriana before switching gears for the quirky comedy Mischief Night. In 2007, Ahmed was cast in the role of Jacob in Juan Carlos Fresnadillo's zombie-apocalypse sequel 28 Weeks Later.
