Biography: British R&B sensation Joss Stone developed an interest in the music of legends like Aretha Franklin and Dusty Springfield at a young age. Showing an interest in singing practically from birth, Stone's soulful rendition of Franklin's "(You Make Me Feel) Like a Natural Woman" earned her an appearance on the BBC's Star for a Night talent series in 2001 when she was just 13. She went on to win the competition and subsequently embarked on a recording career, releasing several studio albums over the following years and gaining extreme praise and notoriety while dominating the charts. Stone also tried her hand at acting, taking on roles like the witch Angela in the 2006 fantasy adventure Eragon and Anne of Cleves on the historical Showtime series The Tudors. ~ Cammila Albertson, All Movie Guide
