Biography: A Southern-born performer who struck an equal balance between acting and modeling, Ambre Lake studied music and dance at Troy State University in Troy, AL, then did graduate studies at Michigan State University, where she received her Master's in Fine Arts. Lake leapt into film acting immediately after leaving MSU, appearing in an uncredited role as the wedding coordinator in the 2002 Reese Witherspoon-Patrick Dempsey romantic comedy Sweet Home Alabama, and then in the shoestring-budgeted, barely released horror opus Dead End Road (2005). Lake made her next major film appearance with a supporting role in Paul Leuer's offbeat seriocomedy Eden Court (2008).
