Biography: Canadian actor Jan Rubes made his screen debut in The Incredible Journey (1963) and went on to have a fairly busy career as a supporting actor. Rubes was a native of Czechoslovakia and was married to actress Susan Douglas with whom he appeared in The Outside Chance of Maximilian Glick (1990). ~ Sandra Brennan, All Movie Guide
