Biography: The husband of silent screen serial heroine Marie Walcamp, with whom he did the 1920 chapterplay Dragon's Net, American general-purpose actor Harland Tucker (sometimes given as Harlan Tucker) came from the New York stage. Usually cast in villainous roles in the silent era, Tucker played everything from mobsters to attorneys to military officers in the sound era, always minor bit parts and usually unbilled. Widowed since 1936 when Walcamp committed suicide, Tucker died of a heart attack in his Los Angeles home.
