Biography: An above-average leading man frequently trapped in below-average material, Gregory Walcott entered films in 1952, playing a tiny part in Above and Beyond. Often cast in military roles, Walcott was seen in such World War II dramas as Battle Cry (1955), Mister Roberts (1955) and The Outsider (1961). In 1967, he both produced and starred in Bill Wallace of China, the story of a real-life missionary doctor. |
