Biography: British director Hugh Hudson got his start in advertising as the head of a London agency casting department and from there became a film editor in Paris. Upon his return to London, Hudson began co-directing a series of distinguished documentaries until 1970, when he teamed up with Ridley Scott to direct a number of television commercials. Five years later he founded Hudson Films and turned to feature films. |
