Biography: Active in the British film industry from 1929 on, camera operator Guy Green became a full director of photography in 1944. His specialty was brooding, cloud-swept period pieces like Blanche Fury (1947), Oliver Twist (1948) and Madeleine (1950). In 1954, he became a director with the modest but attractively shot River Boat (1954).
