DVD Synopsis

A workaholic architect, frustrated in his job but determined to make a better life for his family, is bestowed with a powerful universal remote that allows him more control over his life than he ever knew possible in director Frank Coraci's high-concept fantasy comedy. On the surface, Michael Newman (Adam Sandler) seems to have it all, yet with all the demands forced upon him by his ungrateful boss (David Hasselhoff), Michael finds that setting aside time to spend with his loving wife, Donna (Kate Beckinsale), and two picture-perfect children, Ben (Joseph Castanon) and Samantha (Tatum McCann), has grown increasingly difficult. When a frustrating bout with the television remote leads the overworked husband and father to a nearby Bed, Bath & Beyond in search of a universal remote with the power to control all of his electronic devices, a curious peek into the back room leads Michael into the company of eccentric employee and talented inventor Morty (Christopher Walken). It seems that Morty has created a device that will not only allow Michael complete control over his television and stereo, but his entire life as well. As Michael discovers that the remarkable device has the power to muffle the barks of the family dog, zoom himself past an irritating quarrel with his wife, and even allow him to travel back and forth through time to different points in his life, the rush of being able to skip straight to the good parts in life soon leaves him feeling as if he's missing out on the total experience. Only when Michael begins to realize that the he has lost control of his life and the remote is now programming him does he finally learn that life is as much about the moments he'd rather forget as it is the moments he will always remember. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide

Childish and dramatic all in one film, 'Click' will warm your heart before it breaks it. This movie makes you glad for your pretty troubles and appreciate your family. Sandler's humor is always a tad foolish, but otherwise an excellent movie!

Disgusting and offensive? I clearly watched a different movie than other reviewers....I agree however that this is not really a comedy, but the message is a good one. Yea, yea, there are dogs humping a stuffed animal...big deal. I didnt find any of this movie offensive in any way, or really disgusting. It is very sad however, so be prepared for it not to be funny, but instead to have a very powerful life message.

Overall I think Click was a good movie with an important message, but I found much of the humor to be very offensive. Many, many references to sex.

I normally love Adam S. and after watching the trailer for this movie I decided I really wanted to get the DVD. Had I seen it in the theater I would have known not to even bother. All the funny/good parts were shown in the trailer. Guess that's why there are 55 of these listed on swaps.

Click has all that i love about Adam Sandler movies. The characters are just like people we all know, The situations are crazy, the slap stick is great. This funny little movie reminds us to slow down and laugh more.

I give this 4 stars. This movie was not only funny, but had a great message. One should not "fast forward" their life or they will miss many important events. It told of a VIP in a company on the fast track to become a partner ,when he get a universal remote from a scientist. The remote allows him to stop his wife from talking, miss in law visits, and get back at his kid's bully who lives next door, among other things. He finally finds himself fast forwarding so many things that he finds himself at the end of his life - having missed his life. Then a big surprise happens.
