When a plane filled with residents from Tromaville crash on a desert island, the pilot literally goes all to pieces, and only one crew member survives along with a diverse array of passengers. One of the most outrageous efforts to date from the folks at Troma Team Pictures (which is no small accomplishment), Troma's War gets the sort of wild and wooly presentation it deserves on DVD. Troma's War has been transferred to disc in its original full-frame aspect ratio of 1.33:1. The audio, in English, has been mastered in Dolby Digital Stereo; no subtitles or multiple language options are included. The wealth of bonus material includes an optional commentary track from co-director Lloyd Kaufman; an on screen introduction from Kaufman; interviews with members of the cast and crew; the film's original trailer; a "Troma Intelligence Test"; and an interactive tour of the Troma studios. ~ Mark Deming, All Movie Guide
