Quite simply one of the best performances of all time!! Forest Whitaker CHANNELS Idi Amin.... At the beginning of the film, Whitaker is charming, riveting, a King ... but as the film advances, he becomes increasingly disturbing in his demented cruelty. I'm glad I saw this brilliant performance once, and it haunted me for days. But this disturbing film isn't one for repeated viewing, too grisly, too graphic, too involving and too very very real. Scary....
