Richard Dean Anderson stars as Col. Jack O'Neill in this collection of five episodes from the sci-fi series Stargate SG-1. In "The Broca Divide," O'Neill and the Unit SG-1 crew visit a planet divided between a Bright Side and a Dark Side; civilization has similarly split between two primitive races of people, one more evolved than the other. "The First Commandment" finds the SG-1 crew sent on a rescue mission after Jonas Hanson, leader of the SG-9, disappears. However, O'Neill and his comrades discover Hanson has discovered an underdeveloped planet where he has taught the natives to worship him as a god. A exact replica of O'Neill is unwittingly created during a reconnaissance mission in "Cold Lazarus," and the crew of Unit SG-1 sense something is wrong when the duplicated O'Neill is send back to the ship, while the real O'Neill is left behind. "The Nox" finds O'Neill and his partners on the trail of the Fenri, an alien civilization with the ability to make themselves invisible at will. While Unit SG-1 have been given firm orders to find the Fenri and learn their secret, they discover they're not the only ones on their trail. And finally, in "Brief Candle," the SG-1 team discovers a planet called Argos, where the people are happy, good looking, and know no war. However, they also live only 100 days, and to O'Neill's horror he discovers their rapid aging process is catching. ~ Mark Deming, All Movie Guide
