=Sex and the City: The Complete Second Season is a DVD collection similar to the first-season package, though it's super-sized in comparison, beating the first edition by six episodes. The 18 episodes of season two are split across three discs here, with six episodes per disc. The discs show more grain than most DVD releases, especially in particularly colorful parts of the picture, but the grain seems slightly contained compared to the first season, making it less of a distraction. The Dolby Digital 2.0 Sound is excellent. The discs are easy to navigate via the "Episode Selection" on each screen. Unfortunately, as with the season one discs, selecting an episode leads to an unavoidable story synopsis. Unless a viewer wants to know what's going to happen in an episode before watching it, it's best to quickly press "Play" twice in a row to select an episode. Each episode-summary screen gives access to a 30- to 40-second episode preview.
