Goodtimes provides a good-looking image with =New Jersey Drive, though there are moments where the source material looks a bit damaged. Details are sharp and never bleed together. To Goodtimes' credit, they have included the 1.85:1 widescreen of the film. They rarely use an anamorphic transfer, which might have made the picture even better. The sound, as with many of their releases, is a Dolby Digital Surround, which centers the dialogue squarely up front. There is little sound in the back speakers, but this is not a film that would rely on excessive surround sound. A real disappointment with many Goodtimes' titles is the lack of many extra features. This title, for example, has none. Even a trailer, something that should be considered the minimum for a disc, would be welcome. As is the case with all discs from this company, the price is low enough that it's difficult to expect too much. This is a good film from a talented filmmaker and a decent, though hardly spectacular disc. If it's the movie that matters to viewers more than the disc content, they really can't go wrong with this title. ~ Trent Fordham, All Movie Guide
