DVD Synopsis
On the twentieth anniversary of the cult sci-fi hit Highlander, the legend is reborn in a new trilogy that follows Immortal Highlander Duncan MacLeod (Adrian Paul) on his journey to discover the origin of the first Immortal and unlock the secret source of eternal life. As the world crumbles to chaos and the city falls down all around him, MacLeod's memories drift back to the time he spent with his one true love. Later, when MacLeod comes into contact with a close-knit band of Immortals that include the mysterious Methos and mortal Watcher Joe Dawson, the group sets out on a mission to uncover the secret that has eluded his people for centuries. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide
An alright movie not great but for Highlander lovers who are going to see it no matter what it should be enjoyable. I could think of a few spots they could have made things better. (Traditional songs were ruined by modernizing them they should have stuck with the original Queen music)Flashbacks would of been good to.

This movie is arguably the WORST installment of the Highlander franchise, next to Highlander 2: The Quickening, of course. Not only is the story laughable, the writing horrid and the effects unworthy of a first year film student, even Adrian Paul and Jim Byrnes can't save this beast. This is supposed to be the first in a new trilogy of films. For the franchise's sake, I sincerely hope not.
