DVD Synopsis

A young girl living on a tropical island with her scientist father is left to fend for herself after her dad's boat leaves him stranded far away and careless tour companies wreak havoc on the secluded paradise in directors Mark Levin and Jennifer Flackett's adaptation of the popular children's book by author Wendy Orr. Realizing that she will need adult assistance if she truly hopes to save her home, the resourceful youngster soon begins exchanging e-mails with the author of a book she has been reading. I watched this on YouTube one night. It's a really good family movie! I loved Abigail Breslin's role. Alexandra Rober was funny when she was talking with Alex Rover and they would go to the public view and she was talking to herself. LOL

This is definitly a MUST SEE!

We watched this on Pay per view. It is an excellent movie for kids, families and the young at heart. It was fun!!! Jodie Foster was quite funney with the character's expressions.
This movie in our opinion was well written and well executed. I plan to buy this for Christmas for kids that I know.
