Two gorgeous women -- Donna (Dona Speir) and Taryn (Hope Marie Carlton) -- operate a airplane cargo delivery service in Hawaii. Their latest shipment includes a very large, very nasty snake destined for the local zoo. But the delivery is interrupted when they stumble on a cache of diamonds that were to go to a ruthless drug dealer, Seth (Rodrigo Obregon). Seth sends a transvestite to kidnap the owner of a restaurant, Edy (Cynthia Brimhall), so his men can torture her with a female bodybuilder into revealing where Donna and Taryn are. Luckily for all the good guys, Special Agent Rowdy Abilene (Ronn Moss) has a bazooka, and he knows how to use it. The DVD of Hard Ticket to Hawaii has several "value-added" bonuses. The film is part of a 12-title series on disc, each of them hosted by Andy Sidaris and his frequent star Julie Strain (who is not in this film). They introduce the film at the beginning and chat about Sidaris' career during the generous behind-the-scenes featurette, which includes home movies and outtakes. There are trailers for all of his films, a still photo gallery of production pix from Ticket, and a running commentary by Sidaris and his wife/producer Arlene Sidaris during the feature, in which the couple recalls just about every detail of not just every sequence or scene, but of every shot. A hidden Easter egg is an on-the-set 15-second shot of Strain in the buff. The filler is lame: The chapter called "Filmmakers" is a Sidaris filmography, the "web links" are just URLs for a few of his favorite sites, and the "Comic-Book" chapter is a still photo of the covers of two Sidaris products. A booklet inside the DVD jacket has photos and bios of the former Playboy Playmate stars, a nice touch. ~ Buzz McClain, All Movie Guide
