DVD Synopsis
An intimate sexual act triggers further tension between two crime bosses in this episode of the HBO series. New Jersey mob boss Tony Soprano (James Gandolfini) ridicules his uncle and fellow mobster Junior (Dominic Chianese) on the golf course. Tony has heard about Junior's oral sex skills with his girlfriend, Bobbi, who has been gabbing to her friends about Junior's prowess while the two were on a vacation in Boca Raton, FL. In retaliation, Junior smashes a lemon meringue pie in Bobbi's face, breaking their 16-year relationship. He also tells his vicious top soldier, Mikey (Al Sapienza), a secret he's been keeping that he recently learned from his sister-in-law, Livia (Nancy Marchand): her son, Tony, is compromising family security by seeing a psychiatrist. Meanwhile, Tony and his friends make plans to convince their daughters' talented soccer coach not to accept a lucrative college job, until they learn that the coach has been sleeping with one of his underage players, a friend of Tony's daughter, Meadow (Jamie-Lynn Sigler). My husband started watching this series and every once in a while I would look up from the book I was reading to watch here and there. By the second season I gave up reading and just watched the show. I didn't think I would like it because it's about, the life and trials of the "New Jersey Mafia" and that kind of thing usually doesn't interest me, however this is a very well written show, with characters you'll love to hate and some that you might even find enduring. :)Tony Soprano the NJ "boss" is one such character. He's ruthless, greedy, never faithful to his wife. BUT, is a good father, has a soft spot for animals and also his cousin (who he also refers to as his Nephew) Chris. Go figure! I didn't think the shows ending was the best in history, but the overall execellence of the series made up for it. A keeper for us.
Contains a lot of nudity, (T&A mostly) sex, drugs, language and a ton of violence.
