A nice family story that adults can enjoy too. Truly funny & charming.

Owen Wilson (with horrible haircuts) plots to stop his wifes bio-clock. His best friend is a skirt chaser that Owen seems to envy. Jennifer Aniston starts off oh so sweet and then turns into that wife you divorce. Kathleen Turner is jaw droping UGLY! I'm still in shock. There are to many marley's and their age keeps changing so disrupted the story line a bit. A little sad at the end, not quite "Where the Red Fern Grows" but sad. Story is ok and movie ok but once was enough for me.

Amusing story of a misbehaving golden lab. Very, very cute......... then very, very sad. Would not show to young kids unless they can handle content (death of pet).

The book was better and I did not care for Owen Wilson at all. I did tear up, but I knew the ending. Overall, a cute movie, very touching watching Jennifer Aniston get comfort from the dog.

Oh my...what a tear jerker this movie is! I haven't read the book, so I cannot comment on how similar this is to it. Basically this is a movie about a lovable terror on four legs named Marley that two newlyweds buy on clearance. The movie follows all their lives through thick and thin and how Marley becomes such a part of the family despite his relentlessness.
If you've ever had a pet that you consider as much a part of the family as you are, you'll relate to this movie. I'm out to find the book now! Love it.
