DVD Synopsis

David Fincher's The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, an adaptation of F. Scott Fitzgerald's story, re-teams the director with Brad Pitt, who takes on the title role. What makes Button such a curious case is that when he is born in New Orleans just after World War I, he is already in his eighties, and proceeds to live his life aging in reverse. Very boaring. Slow to start and very long. I like most movies, this was an exception.

Although a little long, this film even made Brad Pitt look like a good actor.The special effects were amazing, especially the war scenes. Cate Blanchett once again gave a stellar performance, as well as Taraj P Henson as Bens mother. If it were not for these two actresses this film would bomb. Be sure to add it to your wish list!!!

I think this movie should be a classic. Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett did a wonderful
job of acting along with the actor that played his mother.

every now and then a movie comes out that is epic this is one of those movies it will make you laugh it will make you cry and you will just love the movie it is an intresting plot and very well filmed and directed and the actors play amazing parts as well

The special effects were worth watching, but I didn't like the story line. I thought the beginning dragged quite a bit (not all of the scenes were needed). Plus, the ending didn't seem to dovetail with the beginning. I don't want to give anything away, but I've discussed this with lots of other viewers who also expected a very different version of Benjamin at the very end and were disappointed. That said, I stayed awake for this very long movie, and I was sitll discussing it days later, so even movies that might not be that great can still have a high interest-factor.

Long, but interesting, tale of a man who ages backward. Kind of like "Forrest Gump" without the laughs. Great special effects. Cate Blanchett is gorgeous in this film.

Very moving movie! Very interesting concept. I laughed, I cried, I couldn't take my eyes off the TV! Starts kind of slow but well worth watching! I give it 2 thumbs up! Great movie!
