This DVD documents an all-star 1992 concert that celebrated the career of the famed American composer Stephen Sondheim. Betty Buckley, Glenn Close, Madeline Kahn, Patti LuPone, Liza Minnelli, and Bernadette Peters are just some of the famous names who sing at some point during the show. This disc offers a standard full-frame transfer. The English soundtrack is rendered in both Dolby Digital 5.1 and Dolby Digital Stereo. Although there are no supplemental materials of any consequence, the remarkable music and performances on this BMG release make it highly recommended to anyone who appreciates great music.
