The Baby Einstein video series presents Baby Dolittle: World Animals. From pandas and elephants to starfish and tigers, the program introduces young viewers to animals from foreign continents and under the sea. Both real animals and puppets are featured, accompanied by a classical music soundtrack. This video was released in 2001 and runs 30 minutes. This disc provides an entertaining way for infants and young toddlers to learn about wild animals, as well as classical music. Video "flash cards" expose children to the names and pictures of numerous animals, while also providing a sample of the noises produced by these animals. The disc offers a standard full-frame transfer. The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital Stereo. There are neither subtitles nor closed captions on this release. Supplemental materials include a coloring book that can be accessed by anyone with a computer that has a DVD-ROM drive. The disc comes with a guide that helps instruct parents on how to use this disc to maximize a child's potential.
