DVD Synopsis
Lion hunters beware! Chief M'Gobo is watching and waiting to throw a deadly voodoo curse upon anyone who harms his sacred cats. Don't believe us? Just watch what happens to a thoughtless British big game hunter in this horror outing. ~ Sandra Brennan, All Movie Guide
Low-budget horror comes to the screen in Curse of the Voodoo. Elite Entertainment has done a decent job of cleaning up this 1.33:1 black-and-white transfer. The images all appear sharp and detailed while the black levels are well saturated. Besides a slight amount of dirt and grain (not uncommon for a film of this budget and age), this is a pleasing DVD transfer. The audio is presented in Dolby Digital 2.0 Mono and sounds better than expected. While there are a few pops and crackles in the soundtrack (as well as little-to-no directional use), overall this is a well-mixed audio track. No alternate soundtrack or subtitles are available on this disc. "Curse" might be a good way to describe this disc -- not one solitary extra feature is available on this DVD. ~ Patrick Naugle, All Movie Guide
