This animated musical retells Dickens's Oliver Twist amongst animals in New York City, with Oliver as an innocent kitten who joins a gang of law-breaking dogs. Oliver & Company comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.66:1. An English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1, while French and Spanish soundtracks have been recorded in Dolby Digital Stereo. There are no subtitles, but the English soundtrack is closed-captioned. Supplemental materials include a pair of animated shorts, three featurettes, a still photo gallery, and a pair of karaoke-ready songs, including the Billy Joel penned "Why Should I Worry?"
