Terror gets hairy with the cult classic Werewolf Shadow. The film is presented in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen and features a very pleasing transfer. While there are a few inherent imperfections in the image (a small amount of wear and tear on the print shows up from time to time), fans will be delighted at how good this picture looks. The soundtrack is presented in a dubbed Dolby Digital Stereo soundtrack that doesn't come close to impressive. Directional effects and Surround sounds are lacking, though the mix is clear of any excessive hiss or distortion. No alternate soundtracks are included on this disc. The extra features on this DVD include a fascinating 15-minute interview with actor
Paul Naschy discussing his role in the film, as well as how he got started working in film. Also included on this disc is a bio on Naschy, a still gallery of well over 60 images, and a theatrical trailer and TV spot for the film. ~ Patrick Naugle, All Movie Guide
