DVD Synopsis
While Robin Williams has become one of the most popular comic actors of his generation, he started out as a stand-up comic, and it's on stage in front of an audience where Williams's lightning fast imagination and razor sharp wit reach the peak of their form. Robin Williams: Live on Broadway captures the New York City date from his 2002 concert tour (comprising 26 sold-out shows), which finds Williams sharing his thoughts on politics, religion, popular culture, sex, drugs and anything else that flashes through his outrageous, supercharged mind. ~ Mark Deming, All Movie Guide
Editorial Review of DVD
Robin Williams truly comes alive on this DVD edition of the video record of his 2002 concert tour. Robin Williams: Live on Broadway has been transferred to disc in its original full-frame aspect ratio of 1.33:1, and viewers have a choice of two English-language audio tracks, one in Dolby Digital 5.1 and the other in PCM Stereo. The feature does not include subtitles. The disc does include two bonus features -- a behind-the-scenes look at Williams and his crew preparing for the show, and an interview with Robin Williams conducted by the show's director, Marty Callner. ~ Mark Deming, All Movie Guide

I didn't even see the whole DVD. He was of course very funny. It just had too much swearing. It would have been just as good he took out 99% of the swearing.

Robin Williams performance is tear-jerking, hilarious fun.
The language is a bit strong on this DVD.. and really Williams doesn't really need to use it so not sure if it was his excitement being on Broadway or if he thought his jokes really needed it! If you can look past the language (similar to Eddie Murphy's stage performances); I loved this DVD.
