Oh here is your classic Sam Elliott right out of the Sam Elliott text book. A Very real Western. One honorable man in a town full of amoral dirtballs.

This is NOT the Gene Hackman western by the same name. This is MUCH BETTER.
It's a western drama starring Sam Elliot who is one of the best western actors ever in my opinion. Throw him into a Great Story and it is a very enjoyable story;western or otherwise.
It is a character study of Same Elliot's character(a frontier wise halfbreed) and the naive family he helps through desperate times. One of my favorite westerns ever.
