DVD Synopsis
A father gets a crash-course in the outdoors in this made-for-television comedy for kids. Comedian Bob Saget stars as an urban-living dad who decides to take his son Michael (Brian Bonsall) -- working his way to Eagle Scout -- on a camping trip. Poor dad is well-meaning, but fumbles his way through a series of mishaps. Saget (Full House) served as executive producer for the film. ~ Bernadette McCallion, All Movie Guide

The word SCOUT is very misleading. The son and his father join this group of other fathers and sons to spend some "quality time" togther at a campout weekend. The movie is boring. I watched it with kids ages 7, 10 and 13 and none of us thought is was good.
I am a Cub Scout leader and thought this would be fun to show the boys. NOT. The characters are not scouts and the behaviors in the movie show the adults being bad role models.
I do NOT recommend this movie.
