The end result of HBO's second Project Greenlight series, in which untested young filmmakers are given the opportunity -- and the studio backing -- to make a feature-length film, The Battle of Shaker Heights is introduced to DVD in this basic edition. Though the film's sound has been mastered in Dolby 5.1 Surround and its picture is presented in the optimal widescreen format (as originally intended), this disc contains no special features, which means that fans of the HBO show should be advised that none of behind-the-scenes drama chronicled on Project Greenlight appears here. ~ Michael Hastings, All Movie Guide

I love the Project Greenlight Season 2 set during which this film was made. As for the movie itself, I can't understand why anyone would like this crap and I also don't know why the project greenlight judges picked this script and the directors they picked. They had two scripts that were much better and two film makers that were much better. This is just...bad with a capitol B.A.D.
