Rainer Werner Fassbinder wrote and directed this psychological drama which has been given a solid presentation for its North American DVD release. In a Year With 13 Moons has been transferred to disc in letterboxed format at the widescreen aspect ratio of 1.78:1, and the audio has been mastered in Dolby Digital Mono. The dialogue is in German, with optional German subtitles.
