This release compiles 14 Madonna videos from throughout the '90s. Included in the collection is the award-winning video for "Ray of Light," as well as the promotional clips of "Take a Bow," "Beautiful Stranger," "Frozen," "Bedtime Story," and "Fever." ~ Perry Seibert, All Movie Guide

Madonna's video collection DVD is an odd assortment of hits and misses. A definite bonus is the inclusion of "Fever." The video mix of that song is completely unavailable on CD (it's not even on the import single for the song). For a collector's purposes, having this version on DVD is as good as (or better than) having the CD. Other highlights include "Drowned World/Substitute For Love," which never saw the light of day in the United States, as well as "Beautiful Stranger," which is unavailable on any of her albums. Unfortunately, this collection is also burdened with several glaring omissions. First, "Deeper and Deeper," one of the bigger hits from the Erotica period, is not included here (neither is "Erotica" for purposes of avoiding a parental advisory label). "You'll See," a Top Ten hit from Something to Remember and a video sequel to "Take a Bow" is also left off, as is "You Must Love Me," the only new song recorded for the film version of Evita, and a Top 20 hit at that. The decision to include virtual non-hits such as "Love Don't Live Here Anymore" over smashes such as "You'll See" or "I'll Remember" is bewildering, making this collection a decidedly mixed bag. ~ Jose Promis, All Movie Guide
