Directed by Vince Edwards, this installment to the CG-animated series Starship Troopers is based on a novel written by prolific sci-fi author Robert Heinlein and its film adaptation from Paul Verhoeven. This DVD set chronicles the troopers' efforts to destroy the Bug Queen before she is able to annihilate the Earth's entire population. Of course, this means tracking down the elusive queen and dismantling her seemingly unstoppable transport module before she is able to complete the trip.
