Written and directed by Alec Berg, David Mandel, and Jeff Schaffer, Eurotrip is a teen comedy from the Montecito Picture Company (makers of similar movies Old School and Road Trip). Mainstream teenager Scott (Scott Mechlowicz) forms an online friendship with German student Mieke in order to get a passing grade in his high school German class. When he finds out Mieke is a buxom blonde girl (Jessica Böhrs), he travels to meet her with his pals Cooper (Jacob Pitts), Jenny (Michelle Trachtenberg), and Jamie (Travis Wester). The producers behind the debaucherous comedies Road Trip and Old School teamed up with jailbait actress Michelle Trachtenberg and relative newcomers Scott Mechlowicz, Jacob Pitts, and Travis Wester for this globetrotting raunchfest about four young Americans who traipse across Europe in search of one of the lads' sexy German pen pal. With an impressive treatment, the film is presented on this DVD. The disc bears a full-screen transfer of the film with Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound soundtracks in both the original English and dubbed French. Additionally, the English audio track can be heard in Dolby Digital 2.0 and there are subtitles in English, Spanish, and French. There is a feature-length audio-commentary track included, as well as a featurette that sheds light on the music used. Rounding out the package are a collection of deleted scenes, an alternate ending, a blooper reel, and cast and crew bios.
