Richard Pryor stars in this light-hearted comedy which has been given a simple presentation for its release on DVD. Critical Condition has been given a letterboxed transfer to disc in the widescreen aspect ratio of 1.85:1 and has also been enhanced for anamorphic playback on 16 x 9 monitors. The audio appears in Dolby Digital Mono, and the dialogue is in English with optional English subtitles but no multiple language options.
